IntroductionQuick and easy, tasty prok dish that the family enjoys! I adapted this recipe from a Campbell's recipe. This one actually makes extra gravy to serve over the rice. Quick and easy, tasty prok dish that the family enjoys! I adapted this recipe from a Campbell's recipe. This one actually makes extra gravy to serve over the rice.
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1lb lean pork chops, 1/4" thick
1 tbsp olive oil
1 med onion sliced
1 can cond cream of mushroom soup
1c long grain rice, uncooked
1c chicken broth (or just use all water for plain rice)
Coat pork with mixture.
HEAT oil in skillet. Cook chops until done.
Remove from pan.
Cook onion in oil remaining in pan until tender.
Coat onion with flour. Cook 2 mins.
MIX in soup.
ADD Pork Chops back in.
Cook according to directions using;
*use just 2c plain water for plain rice.
Served steamed veggies on the side for a perfect compliment to this meal.
