4 cups of Chickpeas (garbanzo beans)- in a can
Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
3 garlic cloves chopped
Yellow Mustard, 1 tsp or 1 packet
Salt, 1 tbsp (remove)
Pepper, red or cayenne, 0.5 tbsp (remove)
Cinnamon, ground, 0.5 tbsp (remove)
Nutmeg, ground, 0.5 tbsp (remove)
1 tbsp of black pepper
1 tbsp Butter, salted
Yogurt, plain, skim milk, 0.5 cup (8 fl oz)
1 cup chicken stock
Saute Onions, garlic in 1 tbsp butter. Add tomato paste.
Add in chickpeas, and all the spices.
Add Yogurt and chicken stock. Stir until hot. Reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
