White Chili

Ingredients

1 Lb lean ground turkey
1 can yellow corn
1 can garbonzo beans
1 cup soaked & cooked navy beans
1 cup soaked & cooked great northern white beans (or any other white bean you like)
6 cups fat free chicken broth
water as needed
1.5 tsp oregano
2 tsp cumin
salt & pepper to taste
1 7-8 oz can green chilies
1 med onion chopped
Directions
Brown turkey in skillett.
Add some salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder & cumin to flavor poultry (a few shakes of each)
Add onion as turkey browns and cook until soft. Add can of green chilies to turkey.
Put corn, and beans in crock pot. Add meat mixture. Add water with boullion or soup base.
Put 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp or to taste of garlic powder. Salt & pepper to taste.
Let cook in crock pot for a few hours on low. Or simmer on low heat of stove for a couple hours.
Add more water as needed.
Serve with fat free sour cream and tortilla chips if desired.
Makes about 10 -1 cup servings
