Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 1/2 lb chuck steak boneless cut into pieces
    2 small onion chopped
    4 plum tomatoes diced
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1 cup water
    1 tblsp szchewan chili sauce
    1 bay leaf
    6 baby carrots or 2 meduim carrots diced
    3 small potatoes peeled and diced

Directions

place beef onion tomatoes soy sauce water chili sauce and bay leaf in large saucepan bring to a boil over meduim high heat reduce heat to medium low and cover cook 40 minutes add carrots and potatoes cover cook an additional 15-20 minutes or until sauce is thickened and beef is tender
