Introduction

My family loves this very simple low cal chili recipe. It can also be made with ground turkey for an even lower calorie version. My family loves this very simple low cal chili recipe. It can also be made with ground turkey for an even lower calorie version.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 T. olive oil
    1 large onion
    6 cloves minced garlic
    2 lbs. lean hamburger
    3 T. chili powder
    1 1/2 T. paprika
    2 14.5 oz. cans diced tomatoes
    1 19 oz. can red kidney beans
    1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
    garlic salt to taste

Directions

Saute onion and garlic in oil. Mix in hamburger and brown. Add tomato plus 2/3 can of water. Add all other ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes.
