Italian Style Chicken Cutlets

Introduction

Ingredients

    3/4 cup italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 .7 oz packet Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing Mix
    2 tsp garlic powder
    2 tsp parsley (dried)
    pepper to taste
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp vegetable oil
    1-2 Tbsp butter
    2 lbs thin sliced skinless, boneless chicken breasts or 4-5 chicken breasts sliced thin horizontally.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl mix together the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix, garlic powder, parsley and pepper. Dip chicken breasts in egg, then in bread crumb mixture to coat.
3. Put oil on a cookie sheet to coat bottom, add chicken and cut butter into pieces and add on top of chicken.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 7-8 minutes per side.
5. Drain chicken on paper towels to get rid of excess oil and serve with your favorite sides.
