Ingredients

1 (3lb) roast of your choice
1 onion, chopped
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup red wine
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried oregano
1-1/2 tsp minced garlic
pepper to taste
Directions
1. Trim excess fat from roast if necessary, then place in slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the roast. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hrs.
2. To thicken sauce, pour broth into saucepan and bring to a simmer. Reduce by 1/4 then gradually add a smooth even mixture of flour and cold water. Mix until the consistency you prefer.
