Korean Bulgogi

Introduction

Received the stamp of approval from my Korean roommate. Good over rice with Kim Chi or dikon. Received the stamp of approval from my Korean roommate. Good over rice with Kim Chi or dikon.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 - 1.5 lbs beef, sliced thin.
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/3 cup sugar
    3 tbs sake (or rice wine or sherry)
    2 tbs sesame oil
    8 cloves garlic, minced
    4 scallions (green onions), minced
    2 tbs toasted sesame seeds
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    half an onion, very roughly chopped

Directions

Cut steak into 1/4 inch slices. (Easiest if partly frozen.) Mix remaining ingredients. Add steak and marinate. Cook steak and marinade over med heat in a pan.

Makes approx 6 servings.
