Dorm Room Dinner

Introduction

This recipe uses items you may already have in your dorm room... they were things I had just laying around, and decided to make something nutritious. I hope you enjoy! Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    - 1 Package Ramen Noodle Soup, 35% Less Sodium, Unprepared
    - 1 small tomato, chopped
    - 1/2 cup chopped carrots
    - 1/4 cup chopped onion
    - 2 cups water

Directions

1. Prepare Ramen Noodles with the water, according to the package, adding seasoning packet in when noodles are cooked.

2. When noodles are finished, cook chicken breast in a non-stick pan. Dice and set aside.

3. In the pan chicken was cooked in, add the vegetables until soft. Deglaze pan with about 1/4 of the liquid from the noodles.

4. Drain the rest of the liquid from the noodles and then add the noodles in with the vegetables. Mix and enjoy!

  • Cooking your chicken and vegetables in a dorm room takes a little using the "old noodle", but sounds alright.
    Sounds better than what we came up back in my college days, but we didn't have a burner or good ole.microwave. - 11/25/08
