Chili

Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    2 lbs extra lean ground round
    2 tsp. salt
    Dash of garlic
    1 onion chopped fine
    1/8 thyme
    1/8 cloves
    1/8 rosemary
    1 Tbs. chili powder (or more to taste)
    1 or 2 large cans of tomato sauce
    1 large can stewed tomatoes
    2 small cans of tomato juice
    1 can Kidney beans
    4-5 stalks of celery, chopped
    1 cup macaroni noodles

Directions

Lightly brown mean....pour off fat, add salt and seasonings with onion and celery. Cook over medium heat until mixture is hot....then add tomato sauce and juice and stewed tomatoes. Bring to a slight boil and then turn heat down. Simmer for just about 2 hours. Cook macaroni just before serving. Add kidney beans.
You may want to add some water as it simmers.
