Super Simple Loaded Lasagna

Introduction

This is a super simple, hearty lasagna that is perfect if you're cooking for a group or want to cook and freeze left-overs for later meals. This is a super simple, hearty lasagna that is perfect if you're cooking for a group or want to cook and freeze left-overs for later meals.

Ingredients

    2lbs lean ground beef
    1 12oz pkg lasagna noodles
    2 jars Prego Spaghetti Sauce
    3c 1% fat cottage cheese
    1 8oz pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
    2c grated Parmesan cheese
    1 c chopped onion

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. Brown ground beef and onion together in a medium sized pot. When done browning, add 2 jars of sauce to the beef and onion. Begin layering in a 9x13 glass baking dish. I've found it works best in the following order: Pasta, sauce and beef mixture, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, repeat. End with a layer of mozzarella cheese. This makes a very full baking dish. You can cook your noodles before hand if preferred; however, there is enough moisture in the ingredients to soften the noodles. Bake until thoroughly heated (45-60min). Makes approximately 12 3x3 servings.
