Introduction

My mother's fool proof recipe great for anytime but especially for pot luck dinners. My mother's fool proof recipe great for anytime but especially for pot luck dinners.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 can (15oz) kidney beans
    1 can (15 oz) green beans
    1 can (15 oz) yellow beans
    1 can (15 oz) chick peas
    1 cup chopped celery
    0.5 cup chopped onion
    0.5 cup chopped green pepper
    0.75 cup granulated sugar
    0.5 cup vinegar
    0.25 cup salad oil
    1 tsp. salt


Directions

Thoroughly drain beans. Combine the 3 -4 kinds of beans and add celery, onion and green pepper.
Thoroughly combine sugar, vinegar, oil and salt.
Pour over vegetables and chill over night.
Drain and serve in bowl.
May add more sugar and vinegar to taste.

Makes 8-10 servings.
