Shwarma Sandwich

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 c ff yogurt
    1/4 c vinegar
    2 cloves garlic pressed
    1 ts pepper
    1/2 tp salt
    1 ts garam masala
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 lb skinless boneless chicken strips

    sauce
    1 1/2 c ff yogurt
    1-3 garlic cloves pressed
    pinch of salt

    to serve-
    3 toasted pita breads halved
    1/2 c tomato chopped
    1 c parsley
    60 french fries
    dill pickle slices

Directions

Mix yogurt with other ingredients and put in a zip lock bag with chicken. Marinate 1 or more hours.
Grill or broil chicken. Mix sauce of garlic, yogurt and salt. Serve chicken on pita or rolled in a low carb wrap w/ sauce, tomato, pickle, parsley and french fries.
