Introduction

This recipe was given to me by a lady at church. It kind of tastes like a stuffed pepper but simpler and healthier. This recipe was given to me by a lady at church. It kind of tastes like a stuffed pepper but simpler and healthier.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
    1/2 c chopped celery
    1/2 c chopped onion
    1 c chopped green pepper
    2 1/2 c grated carrot
    1 (32 oz) can tomato juice
    1 (10 3/4 oz) cans condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
    1 1/2 c water
    1/2 tsp garlic salt
    1/2 tsp dried marjoram
    1 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven or soup kettle. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 1 hour or until the vegetables are tender. Yield 10 cups.
