Dad's nachos

Introduction

Quite filling, a little high in sodium but you can cut down the seasoning if desired
Sometimes we add green chillis and sliced black olives to the top. Great leftovers.

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1lb Lean ground turkey
    1 pkg Low sodium taco seasoning
    1 large can no fat refried beans
    2 cup Kraft mexican cheese

    Light totilla chips

Directions

Brown turkey and taco seasoning in skillet. Simmer until nearly dry. (Add a little water if needed to mix seasoning)
In 8x8 baking dish add layer of beans, then browned and seasoned turkey, top with cheese. (add green chillis and/or black olives if desired).
Cover with foil and bake at 275 for 40 minutes or until cheese is melted and beans are warm in the center.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Scoop onto chips on individual plates.
