Apple Cinnamon Quick Cereal

Introduction

This is a copy cat off of Apple Cinnamon oatmeal packets but with a healthy twist, less calories, and more control over the sugar. This is a copy cat off of Apple Cinnamon oatmeal packets but with a healthy twist, less calories, and more control over the sugar.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    3/4 of a medium apple
    1 cup of boiling water
    1/2 tsp of cinnamon
    1/4 tsp of nutmeg
    1/2 cup of dry quick oats
    1 TBSP of Soy Milk

Directions

Chop the apple into very small pieces and put them in a small pot with one cup of water. Boil the water and then add the quick oats. Reduce heat and add spices and sugar. Let cook for about 5 mins until oats are soft. Stir often. Add soy milk and serve.
