Ingredients

6 cups turnips, peeled and cubed
2 Tbsp margarine
2 eggs, beaten
3 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
pinch nutmeg
Directions
1. Cook turnip until tender; drain & mash.
2. Add margarine and eggs, mix well.
3. In a bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, pepper, & nutmeg. Add to turnip mixture.
4. place mixture into a greased casserole dish.
Bake at 375 F. for 30 minutes or until light brown on top.
Serves 8.
