Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Place sweet potatoes on sheet tray and bake for 1 hour or until soft. Remove from oven and let stand until cool enough to handle.

Split potatoes and remove the flesh to a medium sized bowl, reserving skins. In another bowl, add brown sugar, butter and cream cheese and the all of the spices and mash with a fork or rubber spatula.
Add the butter and cream cheese mixture to the sweet potato flesh and fold in completely. Add the filling back to the potato skins and place on a half sheet tray. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

I thought this was awesome. I'm planning on making these for Thanksgiving dinner. I also used low-fat cream cheese and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. - 10/19/08

These were great! I have made something like this before but without the cream cheese, that is a great addition. My daughter doesn't like sweet potatoes but she did like this! I will make these again to go with our x-mas dinner. - 12/3/09

I will making these sweet potatoes on Sunday. I will reduce the calories by using brown sugar Splenda and a splash of vanilla. Of course I will make more than four potatoes. Thanks for sharing the Neely's recipe jujee13 - 2/12/10

The potatoes were awesome, however when I was mixing the ingredients, I could hear them whispering to me, "vanilla extract, vanilla extract..."! I added a few splashes and a great recipe was even better, and moister! Delicious!! - 10/10/09
