Combine all ingredients in microwave-safe dish and cook until carrots reach desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. Alternately, combine all ingredients in casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees until carrots reach desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. The latter cooking method leaves the carrots a little brown in color, I prefer the first method. Don't worry if you overcook the carrots; they will resemble candied yams that way. Note: cooking time varies greatly depending on cooking method, size of carrots, shape of pan and personal preference. Time here is just a guide.
