IntroductionA yummy, healthy version of apple pie a la mode. A yummy, healthy version of apple pie a la mode.
1 apple, sliced or diced (I like to leave the peel on for vitamins)
Ground cinnamon (I eyeball it and use lots!!)
1/4 Cup of light or fat free vanilla frozen yogurt
Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top of apple and stir well.
Microwave 2-5 minutes, until apple is soft and juices have formed.
Top with vanilla frozen yogurt and enjoy! YUMMY!
(I figured this one out when I had gestational diabetes and this was delicious for a pregnant woman - I didn't miss the crust or added sugar!)
