Brooks Chili

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 cans (15.5 oz) chili beans in chili sauce
    1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomato w/chili seasoning
    2 cans (15 oz) tomato sauce
    2 tsp ground cumin
    4 tsp chili powder
    1 tsp salt
    3/4 tsp black pepper
    12 tsp sugar

Directions

In a Dutch Oven, cook ground beef, onion and garlic until meat is brown: drain fat.

Add chili beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper and sugar. Stir to combine.

Simmer on low heat for 45-60 minutes.

Serve with any or none of the following:
diced onions, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, saltine crackers, over elbow pasta.
