Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Shortening
    1 cup Sugar
    1 1/2 cup Grated Raw Carrot
    1 1/2 cup Grated Raw Potatoe
    1 cup Flour
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Cinnamon
    1/2 tsp Cloves
    1 cup Raisins

Directions

Cream sugar and shotening.
Add carrot and potatoe
Sift together flour, soda and spices
Add raisins
Fill greased pudding mold 3/4 full.
Cover tightly

Steam 2 hrs 30 minutes
Unmold

Serves 8
