These are "oatmeal on the go" cookies - not really sweet like dessert cookies. They're packed with nutrition and you can make them in huge batches & freeze them. Just thaw & eat! Ingredients

    3 ripe bananas, mashed
    1/3 cup Mott's Healthy Harvest peach medley applesauce, or other no-sugar-added applesauce
    2 cups uncooked quick-cooking oats
    1/4 cup skim milk
    1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries or raisins
    1/3 cup almonds, chopped or ground
    1 tsp pure vanilla extract
    1 tsp ground cinnamon or cardamom
    1 tbsp Splenda

Directions

Makes approximately 48 cookies.

Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine all ingredients very well; let stand 5 minutes for oats to soften.
Heap the dough by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes and let cool.
When completely cooled, wrap individually in plastic wrap and freeze in ziploc bags.
