Granola Recipe (still in testing)

Introduction

Modified from a few raw granola recipes, I wanted a lower calorie version that was still mostly raw. The only thing that makes it 'un-raw' is the oats, which you could easily replace with raw nuts. Ingredients

    1 cup almonds
    1 cup buckwheat
    1/2 cup pecans
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats (not instant)
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 cup dried apricots
    1/8 cup orange juice
2 tbsp honey or other sticky sweetener
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp sea salt
    1/4 tsp allspice

Directions

1. Day before soak the almonds, pecans and buckwheat then set out to sprout.
2. Next day add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until crumbly. Not too much though, just till it is chunky.
3. You can eat it fresh OR dehydrate it for more of a crunch. About 6 to 8 hours on 95 degrees in the dehydrator.

Makes 8 - 10 servings of 1/2 cup each.
