Oats with banana and honey
Submitted by: WOTSHEWROTEIntroduction
Nice simple breakfast. Healthy, inexpensive and easy to make. I measure out the ingredients and take to work for a quick brekkie at the office. Nice simple breakfast. Ingredients
-
60 grams natural oats
1 tbsp honey
1/2 cup cold rice milk
1 small banana (average 6")
water
Directions
Combine dry oats and honey in a microwave-proof bowl. Top with enough water to cover all ingredients (like a thin soup consistency). Zap in the microwave for 2 minutes on full power. This should expand the oats so that the water is completely soaked up. Chop the banana and top with milk. Mix it up a little to ensure every mouthful has a hint of honey flavour... then enjoy!
