Sesame Sweeties (Raw & Gluten Free)



Introduction

Healthy snack balls sweetened with only honey. Could be easily made into a bar instead of a ball! Healthy snack balls sweetened with only honey. Could be easily made into a bar instead of a ball!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/2 cup sesame seeds
    2 tbsp sunflower seeds
    1/3 cup honey
    1/2 cup sunflower seeds
    1/8 tsp sea salt
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 cup dried shredded coconut (unsweetened)

Directions

Grind sesame seeds and 2 tbsp sunflower seeds to a powder in food processor or coffee grinder. In a mixing bowl, combine ground seeds with all other ingredients except coconut and mix until it forms a stiff and slightly crumbly dough. Form into 12 balls and roll in coconut shreds. Chill for 1/2 hour before serving.

(to make into bars, simply press into a small square dish and press coconut shavings into top. chill, cut, and serve!)
