2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1.5 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 TBSP ground flaxseed meal
1.5 cups lowfat yogurt or soy yogurt
1 cup lowfat milk or soy milk
Combine dry ingredients in large bowl & stir well. Make a well in middle of bowl and add yogurt & milk. Combine until ingredients are just wet & no lumps remain.
Pour about 1/2 cup into heated waffle iron & cook until desired brownness.
