Taco Crescent Casserole

Introduction

This is NOT your healthy dinner, however, it was really GOOD so I had to keep it so I could make it a couple times a year!! Try it!! This is NOT your healthy dinner, however, it was really GOOD so I had to keep it so I could make it a couple times a year!! Try it!!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 pkg lean ground turkey
    1 pkg reduced fat crescent rolls
    2 cups crushed Frito's
    15 oz can of tomato sauce
    1 taco seasoning packet
    1 cup 2% shredded cheese

Directions

preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray 9 by 13 baking dish with nonstick spray. Lay crescent rolls in a long rectangle in pan. Seal edges and press dough up sides of pan (as much as you can). Sprinkle with 1 cup Fritos. Put aside.

Brown ground turkey. Add tomato sauce and taco seasoning and simmer 5-10 minutes.

Pour meat mixture over crescent roll/Frito's. Spread sour cream evenly over meat mixture. Sprinkle with remaining Frito's and top with cheese.

Bake 35 minutes. Serve with additional sour cream or quacamole.
