Made this as a side to the Broiled Parmesan Tilapia recipe. Used parm instead b/c I had it. Cut the spears in bite sizes & put them in a bowl & coated w/garlic grapeseed oil & rosemary blend seasoning. Spread them out on the baking sheet. Put them back in bowl w/lid to keep warm while cooking fish. - 2/17/10

Very yummy! Had it tonight with steak...mmm. Only suggestion, depending on the oven it might need to be in for a little bit longer than 15 min. Mine wasnt super soft like im used to. But otherwise, excellent! - 1/5/09

My brother got my husband and I hooked on eating asaragus this way, and it's fantastic! We grill ours on the BBQ, and I love it!
We just use salf and fresh ground pepper, let it sit for a bit, and then toss it onto the BBQ - we usually grill them for about 8 minutes, then sprinkle the cheese on. - 6/3/10

  • We really enjoyed this. Quick and easy, and we'll certainly make it again. When asparagus isn't in season, I think we'll try it with green beans as well. It was also great the next day cold for lunch--and would be good on a salad. - 6/6/09

  • Delicious. A great recipe when you can't get the young asparagus and have to settle for the thick instead. Cooking it for the 15 minutes makes it so tender. - 3/9/09

  • Made this side dish last night. I thought it was good and the cheese added a good taste to it. The Italian seasoning was a bit bland though. Mine may have been old. Will make this again with a different italian seasoning. - 2/23/09

  • looks awesome, and can't wait to try! I will probably infuse my oil with garlic and use shredded Asiago rather than shaved, but the rest of the recipe looks great! I've heard roasted asparagus is great as it caramellizes and sweetens it! Thanks for sharing! - 1/9/09

My favorite: liberally sprinkle grated parmesan, lemon juice and kosher salt and cook just as directed here. Perfect for any weeknight or company. Be prepared for the compliments! :o) - 1/8/09
