Asian Soup Broth

Use this broth as a base for any number of soups, or leave it as is for a light broth. Add diced vegetables of your choice, cooked noodles or rice, tofu, or leftover meat.

Ingredients

    1 cup Shiitake mushrooms
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    2 slices ginger root

Put everything in to a large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add whatever you choose to complete the soup.
