Tami's Fruit Salad

Introduction

A request for seconds guarnteed, without the guilt of usless calories. A request for seconds guarnteed, without the guilt of usless calories.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 Granny Smith Apple
    1 Red Apple (your choice)
    1 20 oz can of unsweetened Pinapple Chuncks (save some of the juice)
    1 or 2 11 oz Mandarin Oranges (my grandchildren likes these so I use 2)
    1/2 cup of Cherry flavored Cranisins
    1/4 cup chopped Walnuts

Directions

Wash and dice the apples, I leave the skins on for extra fiber. Put the apples in a bowl, add the drained pineapple and about 1/4 cup or less of the pinapple juice to keep the apples from turning brown. Add the drained Mandarin Oranges, Craisins and the Walnuts. Toss, chill, and serve.

This will make about 6 1 cup servings.

You can double this recipe easily and add additional items you like or leave out what you don't. The grandchildren don't like the Walnuts, but I do. They love this.
