Cabbabe & Veggie Soup (LOW SODIUM)

Introduction

Another of my low sodium soups. There are similare recipes but non that have such a low sodium content for those who must watch sodium intake. Another of my low sodium soups. There are similare recipes but non that have such a low sodium content for those who must watch sodium intake.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    4 C Kitchen Basics Unsalted chicken stock
    6 C water
    1 med head (5 3/4"dia) cabbage
    1 C raw cauliflower florets
    1 C broccoli florets
    2.5 C Knudsen Very Veggie Juice (health food store) LOW SODIUM
    10 0z bag froze soup veggies
    1/2 C Barley pearled (raw)

Directions

Cut up cabbage broccoli and cauliflower and add with rest of indredients to a 6 or 7 qt crock pot.
Cook on high for one hour and then on low for a couple of hours. Then put on warm for overnight cooking. This makes quite a bit of soup as you can see. It is filling and healthy.

The veggie requirements alone are met in a couple of 2 cup meals. It freezes well.
