6 Green Peppers
2 cups cooked rice
1.5 pounds of ground beef (93% lean)
1/2 cup chopped onion
15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon crushed basil leaves
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Cook meat and onions in large pan. When almost thoroughly cooked, add the rest of the ingredients. Cook, stirring frequently until meat is done.
Put peppers in a glass casserole dish. Spoon meat mixture into each pepper. Cook in 375-degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until peppers are desired tenderness.
