    PEPPERS, ONION, LEAN GROUND SIRLOIN

Directions

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. SAUTE ONION AND 3 CLOVES GARLIC (IF DESIRED) IN OIL WITH GROUND SIRLOIN. ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES AND TOMATO SAUCE, COOKING UNTIL BEEF IS THOROUGHLY COOKED. ADD 1 CUP WATER IF NEEDED. FILL PEPPERS WITH MIXTURE. PLACE IN 9X13 BAKING DISH WITH A CUP OF WATER IN BOTTOM OF PAN. COVER WITH FOIL AND BAKE FOR 2 HOURS, REMOVING FOIL THE LAST 30 MINUTES OF BAKING.
