Introduction

Better than the can stuff Better than the can stuff
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. Lean ground turkey
    1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
    1/4 cup onion, chopped
    1 cup ketchup
    2 tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tbsp. yellow mustard
    1/2 cup water

Directions

Brown ground turkey with onion and pepper. Add rest of ingredients and simmer.

  • I added 1/2 can of diced tomatoes, and about a quarter cup fresh diced tomato (leftover from lunch) and did NOT add any brown sugar. It was sweet enough from the ketsup. The whole family liked this, and it's easier to make than my other recipe! - 9/29/10
