Hamburger Veggie Stoup (one cup serving)

Introduction

This is a recipe I found and modified from a Crock Pot Cooking group. It's very yummy! This is a recipe I found and modified from a Crock Pot Cooking group. It's very yummy!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb ground round
    1 white onion, chopped
    1 can Hunts spaghetti sauce, Mushroom
    1 cup green beans
    1 cup corn
    1 cup baby carrots, sliced
    1 cup peas
    1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    1 tsp. Splenda brown sugar blend
    2 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1 tsp. black pepper (more or less to taste)
    1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning, or to taste
    1 can beef broth, reduced sodium

Directions

Crumble ground round into fry pan, add chopped onion and cook until ground round is no longer pink and onions are soft. Drain. Add all ingredients to crock pot and cook on low 4-6 hours.

This freezes well. You may also add 2-3 red potatoes if desired, but from my understanding, potatoes do not freeze well. It changes the texture when thawing out and reheating, so I just omit.
