Introduction

These boneless chops are browned with carmelized onion slices and then simmered with tomato slices for color and added flavor, then baked for 30 minutes in a great sauce for an easy hearty dinner These boneless chops are browned with carmelized onion slices and then simmered with tomato slices for color and added flavor, then baked for 30 minutes in a great sauce for an easy hearty dinner
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 boneless Pork Chops
    2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
    1 Onion, sliced thinly
    1 tomato, sliced thinly
    1/2 tsp dried basil leaves (or to taste)
    Garlic salt, salt and pepper to taste....(optional)
    1 can 99% fat free condensed cream of mushroom soup.

Directions

Heat skillet and add olive oil; begin browning onion slices; then add the pork chops, seasoning to taste. Add thinly sliced tomatoes along with any juice from the tomato. Add the can of soup, and 1/3 to 1/2 can of water. Continue stirring and transfer to a pan coated with pancoat and bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
