Post-Workout Chocolate Berry Protein Parfait Deliciousness :D

Submitted by: SUNSHINELOVINS!

Introduction

This is so yummy!! And it rocks for balanced post-workout refueling.

Make it totally vegan by using soy or rice yogurt. I do minimal dairy & love the creaminess of Activia, so I use Riceotein protein blend (it's also higher in protein than a lot of the whey proteins I've found out there).

You could switch this up by using raisins, carob chips, walnuts...whatever! And it's awesome for those sweet-tooth days.

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 scoop Organic Riceotein Brown Rice Protein

1-2oz. Almond Breeze Unsweetened Original (or soy milk, water, whatever---just to thin it out a tad)

4oz (1 single-serve container) Activia Light Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt (again, could use organic, soy, or rice yogurt)

.5c fresh blackberries (sub as desired or w/ whatever fresh fruit is on hand)

    .5c fresh blueberries (ditto)

Directions

Rinse fruit, set aside.

Mix yogurt, almond milk, & protein powder together until smooth.

Either layer yogurt mixture & berries in alternating layers, or (my personal favorite) just dump it all together & mix mix mix 'til it's all coated.

Enjoy your yummy treat & knowing that you're getting big swo' in the process ;)
