Whole Wheat Veggie Pizza

Introduction

Uses store bought refrigerated whole wheat pizza dough and pre-shredded part-skim mozzarella Uses store bought refrigerated whole wheat pizza dough and pre-shredded part-skim mozzarella
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 package (15 oz) Fresh refrigerated whole wheat pizza dough
    3/4 C tomato sauce
    16 oz part-skim shredded mozzarella cheese
    1 Green Pepper (about 1 Cup)
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    1/2 raw onion, sliced
    5 Tbsp sliced black olives

Directions

Bring pizza dough to room temp. Pre-heat oven to 450. Roll out to approx. 12' circle (or larger for thinner crust smaller for thicker). Place on floured (or use small amount of corn meal) 12 " pizza stone. Spread tomato sauce evenly on dough, sprinkle on shredded cheese, spread evenly peppers, mushrooms, onions, olives over cheese. Place on lower rack of oven for 15 -- 20 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese bubbly.
