Momritz Cinnamon Bread (1.5 pound bread machine)
Submitted by: MOMRITZIntroduction
Now, let me say first, I am not claiming this is a "healthy crazy good for ya" bread. It's just plain good and is better for you than most store bought HFCS breads. :)I am posting this since I have close friends who eat this bread every time I make it and they need access to the info. Ingredients
-
1 cup Milk, nonfat
1/4 cup Butter, unsalted
1 larg Egg, fresh
3 cup organic bread flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 Tbsp cinnamon, ground (i use a lot up to u)
2 tsp baker's Yeast
Directions
load ingredients in order into bread machine
set for sweet cycle (if not sweet cycle I use the dough cycle followed by the bake. Makes it a bit softer but works ok)
that's it! It smells awesome towards the end!
Yields 12 decent slices including the ends.
I wrap mine with plastic wrap right out of the pan so the crust stays soft.

sssssssooooo good!! i added half a cup of oats and subbed a half cup of whole wheat pastry flour to get a little extra fiber. This bread is amazing, fluffy, and delicious! I thought that 1.5 tbsp of cinnamon would be over powering, but it wasn't, it was perfect! Thank you for the awesome recipe!! - 9/18/09

You can cut 45 calories out of this by using egg substitute instead of real eggs and light butter instead of real butter. Doesn't change the taste at all. - 1/13/09
