Tuna Pasta Tossed Salad

Introduction

A great salad as a side or as a meal in itself. Serve with a french or balsamic vinaigrette or eat without dressing to save the calories. Goes great with pizza or soup. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 c. (6 oz.) whole wheat spiral pasta, uncooked
    1/2 small red onion, sliced into thin wedges
    10 pitted kalamata olives, whole or chopped
    1 head of iceberg lettuce, chopped
    1/2 c. (2 oz.) crumbled feta cheese
    1 can (12.5 oz) white albacore tuna packed in water, drained and flaked

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and rinse with cold water to cool.

Meanwhile, prepare the rest of your ingredients. Drain the tuna. Slice your onion into thin wedges.

Layer all ingredients in large salad bowl. Toss if necessary. Enjoy!
