Introduction

This recipe is made with whole wheat noodles, skim milk, light velveeta, and 2% cheddar cheese. This recipe is made with whole wheat noodles, skim milk, light velveeta, and 2% cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

    1.5 cups macaroni, cooked
    3 T butter
    2 T flour
    1/2 t. salt
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    4 oz. velveeta cheese
    4 oz. shredded cheese

Directions

Boil 1.5 cups macaroni. In a saucepan, melt 3T butter, 2T flour and 1/2 t. salt. Add milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add onion and cheeses. Mix cheese sauce with macaroni. Bake in 1.5 quart casserole at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
