Introduction

My version of the blue box cornbread My version of the blue box cornbread
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 cup cornmeal
    1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
    2 Tablespoons Agave nectar
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup skim milk
    1 egg
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
    2 Tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

Mix all ingredients just to blend. Don't over mix.

Pour into round cake pan, sprayed with non-stick spray. Or into sprayed muffin tins. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cut into12 peices or divide into 12 muffins before baking.
