Introduction

I made this to use up some delicious smoked turkey leftover from the holidays. The calories may not be exact in this recipe, due to trouble making exact measurements in how much turkey was used. It was extremely lean and the broth had all visible fat removed I made this to use up some delicious smoked turkey leftover from the holidays. Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    32 oz dried beans
    2 cups lean smoked fresh turkey
    2 cups turkey broth
    1 large onion
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste

Directions

Soak beans over night in crock pot. In morning, drain beans, add fresh water. Throw in chopped onion, turkey meat and broth. Later in day add seasonings and taste after an hour or so to make adjustments. Serving size is 1 cup
