A delicious chocolate-oatmeal treat always popular at a party. Not a diet food. This recipe with it's accompanying directions produces a smoother end product than others I have tried as the sugar is allowed to dissolve properly and does not retain the "grainy" consistency. Ingredients

2 C Sugar
1/2 C Milk
Stick of butter
1/2 C Peanut butter
6 T Cocoa
1 t Vanilla extract
3 C Dry/uncooked Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal (Plain)
Pinch of Salt

Directions
Mix Peanut Butter, Cocoa, Vanilla extract, oatmeal, and salt in a large mixing bowl (bowl needs to be fairly heat resistant as it will have sudden exposure to boiling liquid). Mix sugar, milk, and butter in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Let mixture boil for one and a half minutes then blend into oatmeal mixture. Scoop mixture onto wax paper and allow to cool.
