I skipped the apples and cranberries and just made a peach crisp. But the comment is really about the topping. I liked that it subbed applesauce instead of butter, but the texture ended up really gummy. Still tasted good, but odd to chew on. - 8/12/07

  • I made this with just apples & cranberries and the topping. It was much too tart. Next time I'll add stevia or sugar to the fruit mix. Now I have to figure out how to sweeten it up so we can eat the rest of it. - 11/3/10

  • I made this with only the apples and cranberries (skipped the peaches) and I added some butter to the topping mix based on another reviewer's comment. It was a big hit with the family but next time I'd add some sugar to the apple-cranberry mix - 12/1/07
