Ingredients

    1 can chickpeas (garbanzo) beans
    2 Tb. fresh squeezed lemon juice
    1/4 c. yellow onion or 1/2 tsp. onion powder
    2 Tb. roasted garlic mashed
    2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
    2 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. sea salt
    fresh parsley (optional)

Directions

save 1/4c.to 1/2 c. reserve liquid when draining chickpeas.
place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Use reserve liquid if need be to make it the right consistancy.
