2 small onions, chopped
1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
3-16 oz. cans dark red kidney beans, drained
3-16 oz. cans pinto beans, drained
2-15 oz. cans stewed tomatoes with juice
16 oz. tomato sauce
1 cup V8 vegetable juice (regular or hot and spicey)
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
.5 tsp cayenne (all spices can be adjusted to taste)
*This is a very forgiving recipe, you can change and add black beans, corn, jalapeno, etc. Diced tomatoes work well too.
