Nutty Monkey Treat

Submitted by: WOLFKITTY

Introduction

My substitute for what used to be my favorite dessert (melted choc chips and pb). This treat is packed with nutrients, has fiber and is very FILLING! Still incorporates that salty peanut butter taste and sweetness from the fruit. My substitute for what used to be my favorite dessert (melted choc chips and pb). Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 ripe medium banana (7" to 7/78" long)
1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter (chunky or smooth)

Directions

Pop the peanut butter into the microwave until just melted (10-20 seconds). While that's going slice your banana into discs. For a nicer presentation, you can slice it diagonally. Make the slices as thick or thin as you like! Drizzle the melted pb onto the slices, and serve immediately!
.
This is a great way to get another serving of fruit in. It is delicious and very satisfying, even with the strongest cravings! I enjoy all of my treats slowly and mindfully to really savor the flavor and feel fully satisfied. The protein and fiber makes this treat very filling also, can be a mid-day snack, gives lots of energy!
.
Makes 1 serving (If using a larger banana or giving to children, makes 2!)
