Crockpot Beef Stew

Ingredients

    Stew beef
    Onions
    Potatoes
    Carrots
    Peas
    Crushed tomatoes
    Garlic
    Salt
    Pepper
    Red wine

Directions

Sautee onions and beef in olive oil. Add wine. Cook until wine reduces. While beef is cooking in wine, peel potatoes and cut in chunks. Put beef in bottom of crock pot w/onion/wine mixture. Add carrots on top of beef. Add potatoes on top of potatoes. Add garlic cloves. Season with salt and pepper. Add 1 can crushed tomatoes and enough water to cover everything in crockpot. Cook all day in crockpot. Just before serving, add cooked peas.
